I had painted a few paintings as a series of calendar concepts. This water color painting was done with air brush and traditional brush, trying to focus on the deer. I think that this has a pleasing effect.

I am not sure why I like this painting and have been preserving this tiny (sixe 2″x4.5″) airbrush water color painting. It was one of the practice paintings when I was trying out airbrush. But this is factually incorrect theme since the lotus blooms in sun light and lily blooms at night in moon light. [...]

A line study from a master piece; was drawn with ink and pen and then filled with Fuji color. This was mass produced as Christmas greeting cards later on.
