Posted by: A. G. Rufus on: July 30, 2009

I had painted a few paintings as a series of calendar concepts. This water color painting was done with air brush and traditional brush, trying to focus on the deer. I think that this has a pleasing effect.

Though I normally never on my own attempt to paint with water color, I used to get greatly inspired to try that medium whenever I happened to see a good water color painting. I have great admiration for those artists because of the excellent control they need to have while painting with water color. Unlike [...]

But regrettably this pencil color drawing could not be completed; may be there was a break in the session and this attempt was abandoned. How I wish that I [...]

Daily doodles of strokes and strokes

Posted by: A. G. Rufus on: July 20, 2009

When I want to draw and I find no inspiration at hand, then I make my  pen or pencil to move fast on the paper making bold strokes and from the memory emerges the image, like this one. It is really fun to create such things without much struggle or sweating and it takes just [...]
